It turns out that Lily Allen maybe taking a 5 year break from music to arm the baby cannon and pop out a family, booo hisss and all that. Serious a 5 year break and its ALL over, I don’t know how anyone can come back after 5 years, yeah take some time off a year or 2, work upto 5 month marker then taking 18-24 months off but more than that and I fear it maybe the end.

Anyway I haven’t posted much of Lily Lately, mostly because she pulled a bin laden and went into hiding after her record label stitched her up with the piracy thing, but now shes back and clearly still batshit crazy..

Lily Allen – It’s Not Me, It’s You – Special Edition CD + DVD

The outspoken mockney popstrel Lily Allen’s debut album, ‘Alright Still’, established her as the voice of a new breed of young person, and the long-awaited follow-up ‘It’s Not Me It’s You’ is full of similarly zeitgeist-inflected tunes.

The first single, ‘The Fear’, is somewhat heavier in tone than her previous singles such as ‘LDN’ and ‘Smile’, and sees Allen dealing with notions of modern celebrity, a theme that continually crops up on the album.

Allen also confronts political issues on this markedly more adult album than its predecessor, perhaps intentionally preparing a more mature image for the future.

The Lily Allen news is coming quite thick lately as she goes through to the apparent end of her singing and music career. I’m not really looking forward to that but all good things must come to an end and all that. She actually looks really cute in a waist coat and hat, and she’d probably look about the right size to be a leprechaun compared to the Dangmeister.

There hasn’t been much Lily Allen action lately every since the whole Anti-Piracy speech and she pissed off the world, to some extent even pissed me off. More details on why I was pissed in this post “I’m not impressed with Lily Allen”, the gist of it, she was totally unprepared by either her advisors or puppet masters for what she was saying. I’m convinced she was the dancing monkey for someone else’s entertainment because they really messed her up. Anyway Not sure if I like this outfit but boobs are almost popping out with makes it bearable.
