Lily Allen – It’s Not Me, It’s You – Special Edition CD + DVD
The outspoken mockney popstrel Lily Allen’s debut album, ‘Alright Still’, established her as the voice of a new breed of young person, and the long-awaited follow-up ‘It’s Not Me It’s You’ is full of similarly zeitgeist-inflected tunes.
The first single, ‘The Fear’, is somewhat heavier in tone than her previous singles such as ‘LDN’ and ‘Smile’, and sees Allen dealing with notions of modern celebrity, a theme that continually crops up on the album.
Allen also confronts political issues on this markedly more adult album than its predecessor, perhaps intentionally preparing a more mature image for the future.
This deluxe edtion also includes bonus tracks and a DVD featuring a live show recorded at London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire ( red more and buy it here…)
Lily Rose Allen, I like using her middle name Rose, last week she crying on stage in Finland due to a minor back injury, but she looks like she is really happy and dancing as she performed at Hylands Park in Chelmsford, Essex for the V Festival 2009.

I can’t find much reference to what she was singing other than Smile and Not Fair, I guess they was all busy, eye balling her tan and smoking hot figure in denim hot pants and a black fishnet vest top. Lily told festival goers: “It’s good to see you lot. I love you England, so much you don’t know, it makes me want to cry – with happiness.”.

I have to say her body is looking fine, she’s not like boney ass posh spice but is still looking nice and trim, you can clearly see her abdominal muscle there, I’d say its not going to be long before the 6 pack starts to show thru, anyway here’s more photos.

I always like to post Lily Allen stuff but I can’t make my mind up its just bad pictures or they don’t look so cool. They do look kinda and the thick rimmed style def suits her personality and style but I just don’t know. Not sure about her with Damien Hirst either, I thought she had more taste, his work (cut in half cow and fermaldahide sheep etc) is a little umm but still.

I think I’m turning into one of them Lily Allen stalker types, I’ll be making the 200 mile around trip from Manchester to London to go thru her rubbish or something before you know it. I can post things like “NEWSFLASH: Lily Allen uses free range eggs” or some shit like that. Oh come on its the best I can do on such short notice, lets see you come up with some nice stalker comments on the spur of the moment.
The video is some respects makes me think about Smack My Bitch Up by Prodigy but on a more sort of black tie meal affair. Its about her time in the club scene and the thoughts she had at the time and looking back with angst.
Interestingly its sort of based alot in the ladies toilet with whats of girls doing drugs and make up etc, but what intrigues me is that in the various mirror shorts throughout the video you can clearly see what appears to be urinals for guys to pee into ?

I do like me some Lily Allen, she performed at the Somerset House series in London on 11th July 2009 and she looked like this!, I was actually listening “Not Big”, “LDN” and the Original “Not Fair” (see bottom of the post to listen), where she sings “Oh I lay here in the wet patch, in the middle of the bed, I’m feeling pretty hard done by, I spent ages giving head…”, which was cut from all the censors even the ‘uncut’ radio edit at “Maidavegas” she had to cut the giving head but out.
Anyway here she is at the Somerset House series wearing a see thru top, no bra and looks like she’s sporting a tan, you can bet your ass it isn’t Sevin Nyne by Lindsay Lohan since she’s being sued into the next life. Lily has spent alot of the festival season outdoors wearing not much so not surprising she has a nice tan
