I actually watched some of Heroes the other night, and I quite enjoyed it, I haven’t really watched it since the writers break ruined the second series. When a geeky high-school valedictorian throws caution to the wind by expressing his love for a popular cheerleader during his graduation speech, life finally starts to get interesting in this coming-of-age comedy adapted from the book by journalist/author/screenwriter Larry Doyle.

Denis Cooverman (Paul Rust) may have brains to spare; it’s guts that he lacks — or at least, he did until today. Stepping up to the podium to deliver an inspirational speech to his graduating class, Denis decides that the time has finally come to call out his classmates on their peccadilloes and declare his love for the prettiest girl in school — Beth Cooper (Hayden Panettiere).

Much to Denis’ surprise, Beth responds by accepting an invitation to a party at his house later that day. Hayden Panetierre was seen here at an LA Lakers guy with a guy who could only described as a Chunky Monkey of a man. My friend says the dude clearly was either the man responsible for writing the next series of Heroes (Blu-ray Heroes)since her movie (I love you, Beth Cooper) flopped or he is the worlds first White Sheik and got more money than god. No one has stopped got 30 seconds to consider that maybe he’s family or that he’s actually a nice guy and she’s not a superficial slut like most of hollywood. I would really like one of the latter 2 statements to be true but in reality its more likely to something like the former 2 statements.
